Since the beginning of time, God has blessed mankind with countless miracles from His endless grace. To begin to understand the purpose of miracles, we must ask ourselves, "Why does God allow miracles to occur here on Earth?"
God allows His miracles to help mankind understand that God himself loves us with all of His being and is continually listening to all of our hidden thoughts, prayers, and actions in our every day lives.
Even though we cannot see the face of God, He shines forth from every one of us, and every now and then, He allows us to see how much He listens to our every need.
In my own experiences, God has allowed me to see His grace through several miracles.
Just recently, I was driving home from college (After having a terrible difficult week at school), and upon driving for about a half an hour, I was presented with the most awe-inspiring images in the clouds and in light, all during a beautiful sunset. I happened to have my camera so I took several pictures of what I believe to have be miracles in the sky.
This first picture I took of the strange skies, appears to be an angel in the clouds, seemingly watching over me on my drive home. Later in my trip, I avoided several close calls, and made it home before a severe ice-storm struck many of the counties I drove through that day.
Soon after, another image in the sky had caught my eye. I thought as though it was a part of a rainbow at first, but there were no signs of rain at all! This caught my attention enough to pull off the road and take a few more snapshots of what appeared to be a second smaller sun in the sky. As you can see in the image above, it was a lot smaller than the sun, and included both orange and white light spectrums. See the pictures below for a closer shot. 
These signs really put me at peace with myself, and made me feel as if God was giving me a sign that He is constantly watching over us, even in the most difficult of times in our lives.After the second light in the sky disappeared, I was still drawn to looking at the sky. I never noticed a sunset sky as perfect as the one I photographed below.
